From what i've heard socket 1150 will be backward compatible with 1155/1156.

Haha, the brown gets no love. I think board looks nice, clean layout. ASRock make some decent stuff, good bios aswell..

Can anyone tell from the motherboard screenshots if existing cpu cooler retaining systems will work on Haswell motherboards, or will i need to wait for phantek to release an adapter kit?

8 pack pretty much confirmed they are the same mounting holes in another thread, cannot remember which one. I will try to find it later.

They will work as confirmed by noctua.

Sorry if this has already come up but I'm after a 3570K with a Sabertooth Z77 motherboard. Should I wait for Haswell, I'm not too keen on the Mobos that have been coming out for them so far, seem a bit basic compared to what I was looking at with Z77 ones.

Yeah was meant to say link is in the link. I would wait and see what Haswell brings, it's just a few weeks away and I would guess prices for the board would be very similar.
