I wonder if there are two versions of GTA V in development since the One is not backwards compatible with the 360?

I wander if they cut a deal with Sony to use some of those Betamax Shells they had lying around.. It's fugly for sure.

Unless you're precious I doubt many people will care what it looks like.
If you just use cloud compute to pre render/prepare all the physix (or whatever) requirements/types for the level / area / within a mile of your current position etc. and then cache/preload them locally it shouldn't be a problem.
Dunno, I'm just guessing but as they very specifically called out the increase of servers from 15000 currently to 300,000 and specifically mentioned the ability to offload compute power to the cloud I guess they have something in mind.
I just think it's an element that has been missed that could be a significant step forward in gaming, almost unlimited compute power.

I don't have Sky/Cable or even terrestrial channels tuned in to my TV. Everything I watch is downloaded to my server or streamed from the web.
I don't play online games. I grew out of that a few years ago, and haven't paid for a gold subscription since. As I don't pay for gold, my 360 use is crippled as I can't watch netflix on it, or use the browser. I won't buy a console that does anything similar again.
I don't own or plan on owning any blu-ray discs. Physical media is something I won't buy if I can avoid it. The only reason I buy physical Xbox games is that they're over priced if you download them.
I don't want or need Kinect. I tried it, it was novel for one evening at a mates, and that was the end of my interest.
As for the PS4, I can't say I'm too bothered about that either. I reserved judgement until I'd seen the Xbox offering, but PS4 is winning for me, but still not by enough to buy one.
Thank goodness GTA 5 is coming out. At least there's something to look forward to.

It looks like one of those bespoke cd-player's audiophiles get wet about.
OMG those Vents! They would not look out of place on an Atari ST. Not a bad thing in a retro kinda way. I can see sometime in the future when dozens of these things have gone down with a new version of RROD and people mod the cases for other things.
Talking about RROD, anyone hazard a guess as to what the new cockup will be which causes mass failures? Or am I being cynical?
