**** The Official Superman - Man Of Steel Discussion Thread ****

FOUR WEEKS TODAY PEEPS!!! :D

I go to Metropolis in 3 weeks time. (yes, there is a Metropolis in America!) Going to enjoy the 35th annual Superman Celebration from June 6th to June 9th. I return to the UK on June 11th and it's the UK premiere of the movie on June 12th! So perfect timing for me to be able to meet the cast and crew!

Then back to Newcastle for the epicness to unfold! I am still hoping we will get a midnight showing to coincide with the early advance screening due to take place in USA at 7pm (depending on which part of the States). They can't NOT have a midnight showing in the UK!!

Anyway, FOUR WEEKS!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!! :D
 
I think I know what you mean, maybe something to do with a slight overdose of action.

Still very much looking forward to it though. :)

Don't watch it.

Certianly not like some trailers (cough Fast 6 cough), but it shows a lot more of the action.
 
I feel a bit spoiled after watching that last trailer; I do hope the film lives up to the hype.
 
Can understand why my friend hates watching trailers though I usually forget half of it by the time I watch the film. Not sure about Shannon's/Zod's Brylcreem haircut.
 
Interesting trailer and it seems to clarify a rumour that was doing the rounds a while back.

In this version of the Superman story Krypton hasn't been destroyed, just its leaders overthrown. Kalel was sent to Earth for a better life free of Zod's rule
