*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

I always seem to get these Humble Bundle emails way after the "average price" hits over a fiver.

I received my email about an hour ago, is it released a few days before we get the email?

You need a US address, preferably one that doesn't charge tax and add it to your Amazon account. Select the US address as delivery before you try to buy anything.

There are only five states that do not have a sales tax:

Alaska
Delaware
Montana
New Hampshire
Oregon

google and use a US address in one of those states..

Does this (the state/tax thing) actually make a difference? I'm not seeing any change, so I thought I'd ask. I was using an address in Ohio, after reading this I've just changed it to one in New Hampshire and all prices appear to be the same right up to the point where I confirm the transaction, and looking back through my past purchases sales tax is listed as $0.00 on everything I bought with the Ohio address.

This isn't the reason no tax is added. If you purchase an item online from a retailer that *has* a physical location in the state you are shipping the item to then you are eligible for that states' sales tax. If there is no physical store/office or presence then you will pay 0 sales tax.

This is an amazing deal for D&D fans or RPG fans:

Pretty nice game and certainly worth this small amount.(think it's a Steam code might be wrong though.)

Edit: There seems to be a bug on launching game currently....i haven't found a fix for it but hopefully someone here does.(it worked fine for me on Steam for a while too)

A steal for such a good game

Own this on disk, might have to buy this as a backup on steam:D

Trying to buy this, but something isnt working. I have a DE address set up, as my default for 1-Click purchases, with a card set up for payments for 1-Click purchases, but every time I try and buy it, it asks for payment details as if nothing is set up.

Not normally a problem, but I dont have my card with me!

Did the same to me during this sale for about 50% of things I tried to buy. Ended up having to put the (same) card details in again. There was no way around it.

Bah missed the deal again, Crysis 3 or Dead Space 3 was £9.50 at Zavvi a few days ago

Definitely holding out now :(

Alan Wake pack and Payday - The Heist for around £5 isn't bad. Just need to finish off Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite first :o
