Honestly this comes across as downright immoral to me, charging more than you know it will be on purpose AND charging people now, taking the interest and then refunding the rest back later..... IF and I mean IF people genuinely thought it might be £600, then it came out at £300, thats fine, but purposefully asking for basically twice as much and asking to hold on to the funds now, is downright shady behaviour for a company.
If anything AT ALL I would say charge peopel £50 now as a deposit, and then charge the rest later.

Not really, anyone else I would know they were joking but that Soulja is a weird one so wouldn't put it past him lol.
Okay, while I think pre-ordering is one of the stupidest things you can do I understand that people do it and OcUK want to cash in on the new console. I understand that the price is high as a place holder, fine, but the one thing I can't understand is why you're taking the full amount, months in advance. You're basically loaning OcUK money and getting very little in return.

Wow, if the actual price is even close to this, count me out until it comes down significantly. There's no way I'm paying over £300 max for a games console, especially when they are essentially forcing you to get Kinect, which has no doubt increased the price of the console. Let's hope this isn't reflective of the final price, or that failing that the PS4 is cheaper.
If they both come out at anywhere near this price then I'll stick to my PC and 360 until prices drop! Oh and shame on you OCUK, taking the full amount now.

Kinect will add little to the price of the hardware. It's what, a few camera sensors and a microphone with the rest being done by software?
Realistically, I don't think anyone's going to pre-order an Xbox One from OcUK when they realise the full amount is taken, which leads me to, who the hell thought it'd be a good idea and what other ridiculous things have they done?
No one is that much of a mug.
