Hi Guys

Got the above GPU yesterday installed and all seemed ok, however I get chequered/white boxes whilst browsing....On the desktop its fine no problems - ran Tomraider all seemed ok, Crysis 3 I got chequered box's on.

Its a weird one, when browsing as I scroll the boxes moves around the screen. Tried it in another PC and it does the same thing.

RMA time....
 
Are you sure that you are running the latest full revision of the drivers.....(not beta)

Did you run Driver Sweeper to get rid of your previous drivers.....

I'd RMA, and see if you can get a different brand, Club3D, Sapphire, MSI etc...

Yeah, I tried beta as well as official. one official driver was crashing every few seconds, it would hang then I would get driver stopped error, then hang again and this process repeated until I uninstalled the drivers - which took a while

Yes I used AMD clean up utility to remove old drivers.
 
AFAIK this is a bug in the drivers that should have been resolved since the 13.2 beta's. try also updating your browser if possible.

Also make sure chipset drivers and bios are latest, just for good measure.

Are you using firefox? There are some bugs that occur with Mozilla and AMD that AMD know about and are waiting for Mozilla to fix.

Join the chrome master race and all will be resolved.

I installed chrome, still the same....going to try 12.10 now..

No luck....i get graphical glitches all over the place, i will try and post a screen shot.



there you go, as you can see the white boxes - now they move allover the screen and get faster as I type....lol

I would suggest trying to disable hardware acceleration on flash and using a different connection to your monitor (if you can) to see if either temporary solution fixes the problem.

Are you on a single monitor?
 
PSU is a corsair 750 bought 3 days ago, tried another PSU BE Quiet 600w, both do the same thing I disabled hardware acceleration no luck. its got to be the card. O.C are picking it up Monday.

I just wanted to exhaust all avenues before it went back.

Oh well.

As long as they can replicate the issue you'll be fine. Make sure you tell them what to do.
 
It looks like not enough voltages on the 2D memory clocks to be honest. I would RMA it anyway since it's not working like it's suppose to on stock settings.
