Mark's art for Shelter page

First one from my own reference, photo from the Zoo (so technically my first one commercially viable!).

This one going to try selling at the local art shop (then make the donation myself) - try to mix things up a bit (might get a bit more that way, who knows!).

Just arrived in the post, it looks so much better in the flesh. Really impressed!

Thank you so much, the wife will flip when she gets it

I think you might have hit your total ;). Thanks again for all the work involved :)

The guy in the framing shop was well impressed with it. Going to be a week or so before I can pick it up.

You should add your other drawings to the charity 'gallery' page.

-Go ahead with that second request mate, of Ricky from Trailer Park Boys

Cheers dude, Learned a lot since those older ones!, seems a long time ago now!

bledd. - Hehe, ay - should be easy enough to frame being A3 hopefully! - added a few to the charity page like you suggested, may take a while for the 2nd one (as I may have just ran out of paper from the looks of it, need to order some more!).

Think it's about 55 hours of work & £150 in material/delivery costs to me so far :p - all for a good cause tho!

Hi Mark

You still doing your artwork ? The Mrs' birthday is on Monday and I would really love to have one your ink drawings of our moggy.

Please let me know if this is something you would be able to do for Monday 20th, sorry for the short notice but I'm a typical bloke.

Alright mate,

Soz didn't notice this!

Sadly I'm hard up for time at the moment, got suck a backlog I don't think I'll be able to do it in the kind of time-scale you need. :( - on average they take between 4.5 & 5 hours (ish) so need entire evenings to do each one (sometimes two pending on if I've got stuff to do).

A quick update.

Still finishing off a couple of offline requests.

Have these three still available for donations if anybody is interested (A3).

Suggested donation is around £40, all of these three are based off my own reference photography from the Zoo! (so they are unique).

Need to get some more materials sorted, as thinking about trying to hit the £1000 mark, still got notes of a few of the older requests & I'll send out a few emails once I've got everything sorted for doing more - but these I had done a bit ago.

OP has talent.
Cheers :) - but really they are quite basic I think (not many colours), simple & not the hardest to do.

So,

I've got one week left of the art-for-shelter page before it automatically closes & a few pieces which I did (for either practice, or people didn't get back to me after asking for it - those are people offline).

I thought I'd pop them on here so people can say which ones they want (if any at all!) - before I go-to the effort of going to an art-faire to sell them (then do a manual donation) - which I'd rather avoid (the thought of spending the day with a bunch of hippies doesn't sit well with me).

I've already had a couple of requests in for these (but still waiting to hear back from them) so don't donate until I let you know if it's still available (or not),

Anyway - suggested donation for A3 is around £40/50, A4 - £20

You never got back to me Mark ......

Might be interested in that Walter White one...
Apologies, had a massive bum rush of messages over the space of a few weeks (poor organisational skills on my behalf!) - some of which after I had ran out of supplies (still out of them atm).

Hehe, ay - I expect the Walter one to be the most popular - they are in chronological order (newest to oldest, so you can see the progression over the last three months lol)

Ill engage you next time again elmarko, you need a rest and perparation to deal with my 'demands' :p. My mate loved that car you did, but not put it up yet as just finished a move and everythings everywhere...

Ill make sure to update the thread with a pic once its up if I remember

EDIT: I didnt know you dabbled in colour - howd you find it? Always thought it was the easiest way to ruin a picture myself by a badly misjudged tone, thats Dexters good though :D

hello.

is there anything you could do with this image?

i have thought about getting it printed to canvas and larger but your drawings are amazing and i think it would look better.

I'll have to take a look when I get back (drop-box blocked at work!) - but for new pieces I'll need to get materials in (so may be a few weeks from now) - but I'll certainly have a look.

Glad he likes it mate :).

Yeah, a bit of time to re-organise & get my stuff together (with work, gym & guitar practice it's hard to get the time now-day's but done a couple to improve my technique recently).

I've done a few in colour, but still not 100% on it yet - as the main problem is the amount of pens I need to do it (As I need at least 4 shades of each colour & the pens are pretty pricey to buy them for just one picture!).

The dexter one I could have done with a few extra colours (As it looks a little surrealist when it wasn't meant to due to having to substitute colours).
