There's a lot of book 3 that hasn't been covered yet, so I think each season will less closely match the books in terms of start and end from here on in.

I'm definitely on Daenerys' side. However I agree she has the strongest army, and of course the Dragons. But Bran is clearly now the most capable, he can quite easily take control of her army and dragons and use them as he wishes.

That said though there is no proof that he can take control over normal people. Hodor is simple minded and that may allow him to be controlled like an animal.
