Have any of you used any of the water effects basing gels (Vallejo, Javis) etc.? Considering doing some bases with water on and wondered if these are any good.

I hate making 1000 pt lists

With some armies after you've picked your two troops and an HQ you only get 300-350 points to spend on the interesting units, if that.

The Valykrie model is terrible in terms of quality. Well mostly alright until the cockpit area, so many issues! Now the glass isn't wide enough to fit over the pilot's shoulders, despite having put the parts together perfectly! And the metal frame for the cockpit doesn't line up properly.... Wouldn't matter so much anywhere else but being the cockpit, it's pretty much the focal point of the model!
