Interesting post but not entirely accurate. The picture of Kurt Cobain was a publicity photo and not his final known photo of him alive. There are photo's of him taken in his last week alive at an airport, where he was either travelling to an LA clinic or from an LA clinic, I can't quite remember which.

He was 36 when he died of cancer. It started in his big toe and they advised him to amputate but didn't then it spread.

He tried alternative therapies.

I have my doubts about the Kurt Cobain one. In his final weeks, he left a tour part way through, then into hospital and went largely AWOL until he killed himself.
