First of all, OH GOD YES.

Now that is out of the way, Zack Snyder has taken a back seat for the sequel but from the looks of it this should visually be an absolutely incredible film.

Looks good but not a fan of Eva Green, rather have that tasty Lena Heady. Sullivan Stapleton?? isnt he the guy that was in the Sky 1 series Strikeback??...ahhh yes its him.

If anything it will be visually stunning just like the first one, which ive watched so many times i know just about every line

Hope this turns out to be good, really enjoyed 300 and wouldnt want it tainted by this is it turned out bad but I remain optimistic

I was dubious about it, but that actually looks pretty cool. It will be unusual to see a film all about ancient combat at sea. I'm not sure about Eva Green being the head of the navy - don't think they had woman commanders back then (like now actually).

After having read a bit about it a lot of people are very surprised they have released a full length trailer nearly a year before the release date but from what I have read it doesn't seem to be uncommon for a SFX film. Footage is released early on before it is finished & then by the time the film comes around the already released footage has much more detail to it & has been 'finished' off.

To prove that point, notice how there was absolutely no blood in the trailer? I imagine that when the film is released there will be just a tad more blood

The outcome would probably be the same but I would guess almost everything in between is open to artistic interpretation !

LOL you know what, after watching the trailer i thought i saw her in it, Lena Heady that is..wonder if its just a cameo because from the rest of the trailer it seems like Eva is the main female lead in this one.

Booked for tomorrow to see this in IMAX 3D but kinda worried that when I booked (about an hour ago), I had the choice of seats in the whole theatre... Man, I hope it isn't pants, as I have been proper looking forward to this.
