AP Sona with Lich Bane is probably a more viable tactic in an ARAM or something. AD Sona with a Muramana as a mana intensive pseudo support in ARAM or something is also alright.

Yes! TSM looked very good tbh. Know they lost to Cloud 9 but their strat of rushing games is fairly new to LCS and will probably be 'found out' eventually

I was surprised they surrendered in the game against Cloud 9 but was impressed with how well they started out.

It's nice to see more NA teams adapting the korean meta and rushing lanes

Cloud 9 are looking very strong especially after beating arguably the 2 best teams in the competition on opening day.

Did you watch the Curse matchup? thoughts?

Yeah, the coms team pretty much claimed all their issues were down to not 'bonding with EdWard yet' but there seems to be some other issues, nothing much but something - it seems like Saint has Allstar hangover or something he was really bad, which crept into the other team members.

I agree its refreshing re: C9, I hope they have a plan B however or they will be finding life tough once they get found out . At least it's practice against the Asian way of playing which will benefit the NA teams in the long run

Saint got caught so much that game, pretty sure he was the main reason for the loss, EdWard played fairly well.

As a new player, I am in shock at the sheer range of people playing. You can have the most helpful people in the world, even new ones, all trying to work together and have fun.

Then there is the handfuls of smurfing people who come along and then just abuse you over chat if you don't do something quite right.

Do they smurf as they cannot win when playing as level 30?

I know what you mean, i've been playing two months now and its actually starting to **** me off! Played a few ranked games yesterday and decided no more ranked bs for me. Two of the games the instant i died i got proper abused by my team. Report, noob, go kill yourself all kinds. Whilst funny at how pathetic they are also the fact that i bet every penny i have they see me and **** themselves (im not your averadge looking gamer lol) its still irritateing. Im at the stage now where i feel like i dont even wanna play LoL anymore but i've dropped 100quid in the game lol

Also you add people who say they'll play with you and never do :\ Went on a de-friend rampage half an hour ago, gonna stick to playing with my own bunch of mates, better that way no chance of playing with try hard little gimps.

Just played 3 normal games, all against an Aatrox, he is crazy broken. His passive has zero counterplay and his jump is disgusting.

I just played a few games at top with AD Pantheon, against some Aatrox. Once you get a feel for his abilities, he is quite easy to predict.

Course, as a New champ still guessing peeps are learning his timings.

The only things annoying about him are, his jump/knockup, the travel speed is super fast so it's hard to dodge.

and his ultimate plus his w means he'll never die.

yes a lot smurf becuase of bans many smurf becuase they can't get out of ELO hell and feel a new char will help them.... And the real saddos smurf because stomping noobs is more fun than being challenged

I'm 1150 Elo roughly and get to play most of my games with 800 elo players (i have never played a game with all silver 5 1100-1200 elo players. It's always
one 800 a few 1000 and me balancing it...

today another loss thanks to a player learning atrax... he fed darius 0 - 2 including FB then flamed the whole 22 minutes finally finishing 1- 11.

I understand I'm where I should be but I can't help feeling the game is trying it's hardest to prevent me from improving. in the last 8 ranked games i'm 3 wins and 5 losses. i'd say 3 losses could have been prevented and were balanced games but the other 2 were toxic players and DC's

I gave someone ADC and supported as they "CAN'T SUP WILL LOSE IF SUPP" only for them to give fb and rage quit..... leaving Leona to face draven and soraka which i didn't do too badly only 10 creeps behind draven at 10 mins.

and that's pretty much been the story of my life in silver 5 since being promoted.

I joined silver 5 with a +12 win to lose. and now I'm -12 ...
I've lost promo's twice and now firmly stuck at the bottom of the league winning 1 losing 1....

the only fix i can see for future seasons is to put new starters in their own league, and make them play 30+ games before placing them in an actual league. Far too many people lucked into silver 5 and can't be demoted, and playing with people in placement matches is the bane of my life... How a player with less than 10 games can be considered to be of equal skill to a player with 200 wins I will never know but the system sees it as a match somehow. Sure the odd person but all?
