Hit in work carpark :(

So, someone has decided to plough into the back of my car while parked in the work’s car-park.

Security have just checked the CCTV, and yep the camera is pointing the opposite way.

There is a car in the car park that has moved from its position this morning, it has damage and fresh (that looks very much like my colour) on it, not sure who the car belongs to but I cant accuse, or can I.

Security has just sent an email in the building saying what has happened and if anyone want to come forward before they check camera's. Long shot!

Anyway the damage, not sure how much this is going to cost but I think I can get away with just a re-spray, as there is no dent's. Anyone have any idea what I would be looking at for repair?

This so common, people just don't accept responsibility these days. Bloody ****s!
 
Put a note on the car you suspect, saying the CCTV recorded the incident and to contact you on the number you provide to arrange repair.

See if they cave.
 
Look on the bright side at least it didn't happen when you were deep in shoot prep dieting or else you would have found them and murdered them already.
If you could have mustered the energy :p
 
take lots photos of the other car. Maybe leave a note.

a bump like that probably wasn't even noticeable to the other driver.

yes! lots of pics! so if they do straight up deny everything you have some for of evidence before they can sort their shizz out.

HAHA xD love it! call a bluff and see if they buckle under the pressure!!! :D like their style hehehe

hopefully they'll do the decent thing and come forwards :) but as said... it does look rather small, despite looking a bit nasty... they may not even have realised xD
 
I'd definitely be grabbing some photos of their car. And tbh finding out who owns the car and turning up with security as a front to see if you can get them to cough it.
 
I know aberdare ford can respray a rear bumper on a mk4 mondeo for £80. They did my lower half of bumper for £30 when I had paint damage on my car.

if it was them then i would guess they havent even noticed they hit you , otherwise why would they not t cut your paint off ?

Tis but a scratch!

I was reversed into at work in 2009 and this was the result;

My car was stationary and the guy reversed into me was trying to claim that we should go halves on the repair. I don't think he understood how much this damage would have cost us personally if we didn't go through insurance.

Hope all goes well with finding the bugger who did this to you.

If someone reversed into my car then had the audacity to say 'lets go halves', I'd be tempted to just punch them in the face.
