Asus RMA

Within the first year of purchase, you should contact the retailer you bought it from, and they will arrange the RMA for you.

bought it march 2012, so i am 3 months over the year
I'm guessing it wasn't bought from OcUK? If it was, I would contact them in the customer support section, as they might be able to give you a contact/email address, or telephone number.

Not allowed to mention other companies, but from previous experience, if you purchased from the so called 'rainforest' I would RMA it with them anyway, chances are they will give you a replacement, or full refund, they do that with anything practically.

Other than that contact the place you bought it from anyway, see if they will give you the relevant info to get the RMA started.

Also check manufacturer list here >> Graphics Card Warranty's - Let's see how good they really are *Look*

Any of the companies highlighted in 'Green' have good RMA service, Gigabyte, EVGA, KFA2 being the best of the bunch, when you by another card stick to them in my opinion.

Asus are notorious for being the worse case nightmare scenario, when it comes to RMA, whether it's a Motherboard, Graphics card etc, I would flag them red - if the card isn't bought from OcUK.

hit nail head, yea it was the one part of my build that was not from ocuk, small price diff at the time which nows seems useless for the hassle its going to take for me to rma. going to take a track into the rain-forest and see what comes up, only problem is i bought it over a year ago. last time i buy a asus gpu anyway.

The law now requires the retailer to deal with any issues up to 6 years, depending on the warranty period for the product. Asus will not deal with an end user at all and they simply redirect you to the citizens advice bureau first and then advise you to go back to the retailer you bought the card from, and yes i know it's a bit of a joke but thats their policy.

I have a card verified as under warranty from Asus themselves but because I cannot remember where it came from and as a result, despite talking to them, I have a paperwieght under warranty lol.

Sad thing is I have loads of Asus technology in my household and even offered them serial numbers to prove it, in the hope they would deal with me.

As a result I will no longer be buying Asus products period. Shame really.

Frankly im not even sure my messages were understood correctly either and likely you will be dealing with someone called Carol Chen.

Good Luck though

So you're saying if your retailer went bust / refused to co-operate / was a private seller you'd be able to RMA those Titans through Asus despite the fact they don't currently accept RMAs for video cards/motherboards/components from end users?

I know from first hand experience in this very situation that Asus don't want to know. I had to take them to court via trading standards in the end.

I looked into this recently and its the same situation, they will NOT deal with end users apart from monitors and laptops.

if the retailer has gone bust/under they will now deal with you, i still have a case in progress with them now and they have stated that, in the uk anyway
