cheapest way to travel to france?

I can get the eurostar return for £51... but if I couldn't then I'd drive across or be a foot passenger on a ferry. I'm sure sleazyjet have cheap return flights too.

Getting back is easy and free. Stand on the French shoreline, facing Blighty, jump very high and the earth should rotate under you allowing you to land in England.

I assume that's with your travel discounts?
I'll have to remember to give you a shout next time I want to go to France!

The cheapest possible option (ignoring walking and swimming or other silly self-propelled suggestions) would be by coach.

You can?!

Yup see below. :) and £119 return 1st class. ;)

Great shout, I've done that before and completely forgot about it.

Flying is cheap but it's such a ball ache to do, especially if you live in London or the SE as the train or driving and using the ferry is so much quicker and less hassle.
