Wimbledon

It's quite funny listening to the commentators fumble over themselves while trying to find out about this "unknown" guy Steve Darcis. If they followed tennis outside of the majors then they'd know he's been a pretty solid player for years.

Gotta love Wikipedia sometimes :D.

In the first round at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships, Darcis defeated fifth-seeded Rafael Nadal in straight sets, 7–6, 7–6, 6–4.[4] Then went to a brothel and celebrated in style like a true champion

Ha

changed now, boring : In the first round at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships, Darcis defeated fifth-seeded Rafael Nadal in straight sets, 7–6, 7–6, 6–4.[4] As such, he became the first player ever to defeat Nadal in the first round of a grand slam.

Thing is, I remember last year with Rosol and how he went out in the next round and barely played at all, went out with a whimper.

Tempting to put money on Darcis to do the same - no disrespect to the guy, I just fancy my chances. :D

I'd imagine there is a fairly good chance he'll bomb out next round. That was his Wimbledon final, getting yourself up again to play out on court 18 against the world number 58 or something isn't so easy!

Why have the got Davenport on the BBC but not Courier?

Edit: STFU Sharapova

Edit: No one's going to want to face Hewitt after Queens and his first round performance today.

That Hewitt/Wawrinka match was quite good. Hewitt showing he can still bust out some moves when required.

Hewitt is rolling back the years, he was majorly impressive at Queens especially against Del Potro. Could reach the last 16 or even 1/4 finals the way he's playing.

Maybe John Inverdale made sure he didnt come back after the on-air Djokervic pronunciation argument they had at the French open.

Or more likely he's commentating for an American channel.

Felt bad for Wawrinka - Hewitt is like a cyborg these days with his robo-knees but not taking a set of him is a bit of a let down. Was expecting 4-5 setter

Huge shock at hearing Nadal is out already, mind you i dont even like the guy but still thats one huge name already out.

Am hoping that Fed somehow gets to the final and wins it, then promptly decides to call it a day as hes definitely struggling to keep up with Novak, Murray and even Nadal to an extent. I just hope he decides soon as id hate to see him get truly embarrassed on the court.
