How to deal with eBay buyer!

Stay cool and carry on being nice to him without insulting him or using threatening or vulgar language because if a case is opened against you all of the above will go against you too. Ebay is a breeding ground for morons and people that try to abuse ebay policies to try and get stuff for free. Ebay 9/10 side with the buyer and people have caught on to this so try all sorts of **** to get away with stuff.

i hate people who type like that. he's clearly a moron. OP i hate to say it but i think he will leave negative feedback no matter what, so i'd just have fun with him now, generally play dumb, send the wrong adaptor etc etc. Immature i guess, but at least you'll get some satisfaction.

OP sort your details out or be reported, you have 12 hours to sort it out.

Play by the rules or get off ebay.

This is why i hate ebay and they will side with the buyer ive had to many bad experiences with it! As a seeler and buyer!

Had a few unreasonable people when selling!

My first 3 'gaming pc's' where from there one never replied. The next sent a pc where the case was cracked the mobo was damaged the cpu was bent! The next was an alienware from 'London' actually sent from Germany but looks like someone took a sander to it!

It's not diffcult to understand. Usually this happens if the 1st buyer fails to buy the goods, then the 2nd highest bidder gets to buy the item they originally bid on. The system isn't and wasn't put in place for the seller to try and shift a similar item.

Just give him the £15 he wants and wash your hands with it, his reading (and writing) skills are obviously not that good but regardless of that the Second Chance is a contingency for if the sale falls through, not for selling additional items.

As far as Ebay are concerned you have sent him the wrong item and probably broken a few of their rules, so I wouldn't get tough with him.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like you can use the second chance to sell additional items but Ebay state 'duplicate items', so the fact still remains that the item you sent him is not the one he bid on.

Exactly.

you haven't scammed him so your concience should be clean, you sent him a working drive that he agreed to buy. Just send him the adaptor tell him he's lucky to be getting that and forget about him. I wouldn't even bother replying any more once you post the adaptor.

He comes across as so stupid tell him you'll hack his 'internets' and delete his computer, he'll probably believe you and soil himself :D
