Wimbledon

Nope, she's an Aussie really!

Never really understood that mentality... She was brought up British, she was trained British and she's happily playing for Britain. What's Aussie about her? Because she was born there and live there for a tiny period of her life?

Next you'll be saying England Cricket team isn't English when they won the Ashes...

Just watched the recording, she's doing really well. For a teenager representing, her mental work has improved since the Olympics!

Brits are on Red Button

Domicic Inglot & Johanna Konta in mixed dbls started well lost serve in opening game.

Heather Watson & Jonathan Marray set up and 3-3- in 2nd

Tsk, Stosur is so much more talented :p

Little bit too well built, but much more talented than Lisicki

Not on grass she isn't, even admits herself she hates it and is no good on it. Lost to Arantxa Rus last year in a major shock.

Yet again, a female goes a set up then goes into meltdown (yes, you Miss Stosur)

Maybe another seed on way out.

Li Na is a set down to lovely-but-always-miserable Klara Zakopalova.

Always think she could do with a night out to let her hair down and cheer up a bit.

Jonathan Marray & Heather Watson just won their mixed dbls match 2-0

Laura Robson should be up soon for her Women's Dbls match but they didn't have a court listed so might even be on tv court. if were lucky

Don't all bet your house on Serena

"That is the match everyone wants to get to," says Lisicki about the probability of playing Serena Williams next. Lisicki has beaten the reigning French Open champion at Wimbledon in three of the last four years. I don't need to remind you who the current Roland Garros champ is... (it's Serena)

well that's the most useless stat of the day. you cannot compare any of them to the machine that serena is at the moment. she's in form and more importantly, she's hungry for it like we've never seen before.

i'd love lisicki to win but i give her no chance. :p

And they were all one-or-two slam wonders - the French open is probably the easiest Slam for a non-Williams sister to win - and we know what consistency in the women's game is like these days. I do like Lisicki though and hope she pulls off something remarkable, but given the mental side of the women's game and the amount of slams Serena has won relative to the rest of the tour (like all of them combined?) you don't hold much hope.
