Now that rockstar have stated no pc GTA 5

Hope gta games are released exclusively on playstations to be honest,they always strike me as infantile and designed for naughty kids to play lol
Might be worthwhile petitioning rockstar to not make anymore gta games...hehehahe
 
It will come out sometime in 2014 no doubt about that GTA4 sold millions on PC despite using 3 DRM systems (2 after RSC got canned).

But GTA4 had shovelware gameplay & appalling story cutscenes so who really wants this on PC anyway :rolleyes:

So basically same as before, expect a PC and next gen console release in 6 months would be my bet.
 
It would be a silly idea to not release it on the new gen consoles tbh. The current ones barely play it as it is, if there is too much going on like explosions and cops chasing you which is often the case then it lags

So the only time rockstar have commented is that they are concentrating on the 360/ps3 release. So by your logic rockstar aren't supporting the next gen consoles OMG !!! :D

Oh and you know you have just said bf4 isn't 'one of the big games'. Do you even follow the gaming industry? Its not quite CoD like (also on PC by the way) but its a huge franchise.

There will be exclusives to consoles, and it has bugger all to do with piracy. Its down to MS/Sony handing over a **** load of money to the devs to shift their respective consoles. Want to play all games? Buy a PC/PS4/XboxOne.

They've had five and a half years to optimise it though, look at how far other game series have come since then.

Well ideally I'm after a new super slim. I've borrowed a 120GB slim, and the thing was *loud*. No way I could live with the noise. Even stripped it down and applied new thermal paste, but it made no difference.

I know the Blu Ray drive is a bit noisier on the Super Slims, but the fan noise is what worries me.

A Super Slim for £99 and I'd buy it tomorrow :p

Thats true but there is only so much optimization can do

Im shocked how much they have managed to squeeze out of the current consoles tbh it's quite impressive considering the xbox has 512mb of ram i think shared between gpu and cpu and the ps3 has 256mb for the gpu and another 256 for the cpu.

I can't help but feel that gta will be seriously stamped on just to make it work on the current gen

LOL, if you think PS3 slim is loud, try the XB360 :) I have them next to each other and the latter sounds like a hoover in comparison, the only real noise for the PS3 is a kind of 'chirping' sound it makes when scanning the disk.

Back on topic, GTA in being announced later on PC than consoles shocker. I wouldn't read too much into the fact that a PC version hasn't been announced yet, Rockstar have previous in this regard.
edit: just checked the GTA4 history - GTA 4 for Windows wasn't even officially announced until August 2008, yet it came out on console in April 2008.

So, given that the previous version of GTA PC was announced MONTHS AFTER THE RELEASE of the console game, why are you so adamant the fact a PC version of GTA5 hasn't been announced yet implies it won't be coming to PC, given that it hasn't even been released on console yet? Realistically, we shouldn't be expecting the PC version to be announced until at least Christmas.
