heh it's hard to say as everyone's play style is different...It's appealing just exploring in an Aurora and slowly trading my way to better ships...As it stands I have the Constitution, Hornet and a Starfarer and who knows what else I'll panic buy before Saturday. :eek:

I'm sticking with my Aurora LX, and have picked up a 315p upgrade pack ready for when I get a 300i.
It all looks amazing and I can't get enough of it currently.I'm on the RSI forums more than I'm here!

My understanding is when you buy a 300i in game you cant upgrade it using the 325 upgrade from the pledge campaign you may want to check that buddy

If thats the case I can either reclaim the upgrade or pick up the 300i before November to get LTI.
Second option is more likely, because the 300i directors cut really sold it to me!

$12m in pledges and helmed by Chris Roberts, i'd say its gonna be.

$35 pledge for low end tier, its gotta be a no brainer

What I want to know is have they factored in profit from kickstarter/extra pledges.
Surly all the core fans will have pledged, meaning future sales are going to be low.

I contacted them asking whether early backer will get a free steam key if and when it becomes available on steam.

If not I may just wait until the final product is available. Playing alpha and beta will only spoil the final product experience for me. Want it all to be fresh when it is all polished up and ready

As for all the stuff you get, isn't the fun part in games like these actually the journey of making the credits your self in game and upgrading your ship?
