It's dried up for me again, and I'm really wanting something to keep me entertained.

Recently tried to get back into Skyrim, I have never done the main quest but across the 360 and PC, I have put in several hundred hours so I get bored after like 3 hours as it's all the same as before!

I'm going through my Steam library and nothing captivates me.

Most of my games are touched but unfinished. But when I go to play them again, I just get bored. Knowing I have done those parts already!

I need something new, I need a multiplayer game. I kind of got into Battlefield but had no one to play with so quickly lost interest.

Any ideas? I need something with RPG elements as well. Love me skills and **** lol.

Thanks!

Not much help, but massive revival due to indie and kickstarter.n just. Most wont be finished for at least another year.
Try something different. Perhaps you are bored of the genre in general rather Han just the game, I used to be purely FPS, then I gave up of gaming for a couple of years, and have since discovered indie and other interesting titles and still haven't played FPPs in years.

Recently been into things like
The Cave
Don't Starve

Went through an Indie phase, not much there. The only source of actual time sink gaming I have is my GBA SP haha. Playing through some games on it on the way to and from work.

Other than that... Nothing.

Borderlands 2 is somehow keeping me interested, in the same night I tried Assassins Creed 3 and binned it after less than 2 hours so BL2 is doing something right!

Er only other game I seem to have an urge to play is Toca Builders, which is a kids game I got for my daughter on the ipad, it's like Minecraft for toddlers but is rather good fun for adults too !

I am about half way through Borderlands 2. Whilst fun, it's very samey for me now. Go to x, collect y, kill LOADS of bad guys. Hand it in to z.

Rinse repeat. I really enjoyed it up until then.

Appreciate these aren't specifically mp, but how about a first person with semi open world / rpg mechanics?

System Shock 2 + mods
Stalker SOC / CS / COP + mods
Far Cry 1 / 3
E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy (this'll be an experience if nothing else! :D)
Deus Ex 1, 2 or 3

Here's a mod coming out for Stalker COP on 31st of this month :

Yea, I think MMO might be the way forward if your missing the social side of it.

Or as above, LoL / DOTA (got a free key for this if you want it), team based games normally have a good community!

Day Z, really enjoyed with friends. But they don't play it much.

Tried LoL NUMEROUS times as it's all my gaming buddies play these days, but it's just not my type of game sadly.

Played and love the ME trilogy. Recently started to play through it again, I was actually enjoying it, might pick that back up.

System Shock 2 could be a looksi, but a little outdated. Stalker, not a fan. Farcry 3, loved it but got bored before the second island. A bit repetitive. Might pick this back up and solider on through until the second island.

Deus Ex, played more times than I can count. The second one, completed but wouldn't play again, but out dated. The 3rd, I sunk in many hours on the 360 but never got round to completing. Bought it in a steam sale but sadly, the PC version is just too... 'sluggish' when using a controller and vsync.

E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy... What is this? Googling now :)

As for MMO's, I LOVE mmo's, Lineage 2 and WoW are the 2 that truly kept me tied in, wouldn't play either now as both have changed far too much and not for the best. If I were to get into a MMO, it would have to be a fairly new one. Nothing more boring than starting one years after release.

I grabbed Grim Dawn the other day, it's still in alpha but very playable. If you like your ARPG's this is made by the blokes who did the superb Titan Quest.

Marvel Heroes is a ftp game by an old Diablo dev, has plenty of skills and stuff to mess about with and there's a small OcUK group setup.

you need to play mp games single player games often become very repetitive.

dayz with group of fun people is class .

keep things fun is the key taking some games to serious kills it and makes playing a chore.

Ro2/Rising storm for some multiplayer? ..I'm currently playing through Dishonored, not sure if you have given that a go but a cracking game.

Minecraft for something a bit different?
Arma 3?

I like Minecraft, but don't have the patience for it haha.

Arma 3... Whilst tempting, I know it will kill my system.
