Some people don't want a chit chat. Mohamed needs to go and socialise in his own time.

On the phone I am after the bottom line, I don't have time to start faffing around with silly questions.

Chances are, when his computer is loading and there is silence, I am busy doing something on my own computer.

This isn't kindergarten where everything that shines out of every orifice is beautiful.
 
£1k on an N/A auto doesnt seam like that much of a bargain to me tbh. You can pick them up for 2k no problem and you dont need much to go wrong to loose a grand on it.

Wait and buy a turbo, otherwise look at something like a soarer which are a bit more reasonable to insure.

I understand your pain with insurance though, i spent most of yesterday trying to insure my dads charger to take it to a car show and have just hit dead ends as it isnt on half the systems :(

I'm highly interested in how on Earth you get quoted 20k on insurance, even if you were 17 on a provisional and were buying a McLaren it probably wouldn't be that high.

when i phone any company i want it dealt with 1st time and quickly. i don't want to know that his favorite color is grey and that its ****ing of rain wherever he is. they probably got an extra 50p out of me on call charges.

all im saying is when im making a professional call to a company i want it done quickly and professionally. i don't want to know what the guys favorite color is and what the weather there is like.
 
It won't be UK spec.

UK specs start at 5K for even crappy ones.

NA auto for sure.

For 1K it wil be complete shed.

One of my cousins is 17, on provisional. Wanted insurance for a 5 year old yaris. Quote was 21k.
Why? Job description = footballer.
His identical twin who works in a supermarket and is a student...3.5k
 
I didn't even entertain getting a performance car until I was outside the young driver's bracket (under 25) and had a couple of years NCB.

With regards to the car, even for 1k, a non-turbo variant would be a real turn off as Supras are big heavy cars and can imagine them being a bit gutless without a nice turbo (or 2) strapped to it.

contrary to popular belief the non turbo supra is fairly capable.

225bhp and 1450KGs is a relatively fine combo. Still enough to dust off modern golf GTIs and the like.

It's just when people hear supra they automically assume its a single turbo conversion with 700BHP.

Admittedly, the turbos do go better.

They both crash fairly similarly though.
