Tour de France 2013 *** Spoilers ***

Adam Hansen won a nice stage at the Giro..

Put him in my fantasy team, not sure I would bet real money on him though!

I'm all over the place now having missed it yesterday. It says on the tour website that Nacer Bouhanni has withdrawn yesterday but ITV4 just showed him peddling along!

EDIT: LMAO. I just realised these are yesterday's highlights! :D

I think Sagan has got the points jersey already with his team leading him into intermediate sprints like that.

As he cockily said it himself yesterday, his only real danger of not winning is from bad luck.

He won an amazing stage at the Tour of California - waited for the wind to shear the peloton and then he was off like the clappers!

And if you can find his post stage interview he has a choice quote about his strategy that day. Something along the line of: "I'm mother hubbard Jens Voigt, they aren't going to flipping catch me!".

This tour is making it very easy for people who are new to cycling to understand why having a whole team working for something is so important.

Lotto did a great job at leading out Greipel yesterday. OPQS (who did a lot of work through the day to catch the break) didnt have anything to help Cav at the end and he wasnt able to properly challenge the sprint.

Cannondale did a crazy amount of work today. Sagan's 7 teammates pretty much rode a team time trial for over 100K. They worked to get rid of Cavendish+Greipel, they worked to lead out the intermediate sprint, they worked to keep the Cavendish group a long way behind, then they worked to lead out the stage win.

I wonder if we'll see Sky doing their job tomorrow?

I quite fancy Dan Martin for tomorrow. Think it'll be Rolland and some other KOM guys over the first big climb and they'll get swallowed up towards the end by a relentless pace driven by Sky, which will then become unsettled by attacks from J-Rod, Quintana, Contador, Valverde and from nowhere one of the Garmin guys will pop up and run away with it.

Or Sky might just drive their whole train over the final climb and it'll be a Froome-Porte 1-2.

I can't see a break getting away, Rolland will want to get the KOM points but he's not that far behind on the GC. I'm tipping Froome to win.

Rolland, and Kadri to duke it out for KOM towards the top of the climb but rejoin the peloton shortly after.

Does anyone else feel like the GC seems to be something of an after thought so far? The contenders aren't really competing or racing against each other, yet, and its not a patch on last years competitiveness where Sky had to defend the yellow jersey from an early outset.

GC will have a shake up today, it will be decided in the mountains then just sit behind your team on the flats. I'm tipping Froome to win today, with Cadel losing only a few seconds along with Contador.

Nobodies going to hammer themselves for a few seconds on a flat stage where a breakaway is very unlikely, when the hard stages are yet to come. Best ride so far was Cannondale belting along yday to get Sagan all the Green Jersey points.

Looking forward to today's Pyrenees stage, it a lovely area of France, went there last year on holiday.

We will get to see the GC contenders today, Froome will need to make his mark. Looks like Sagan has got the Green jersey wrapped already.

The cliffs next to the river they went past a little earlier looked beautiful.... though I think overall this tour so far, we have been spoiled by how nice Corsica was. Looks a great place for a holiday and to cycle.

Les Gorges de Saint-Georges? Yes they were spectacular. Little Tommy Voeckler looks like he's going to collapse now after being trounced by Quintana.

Team Sky game plan worked a treat yet again, field destroyed! Judging by the day performances there does not look like anyone is in form enough to challenge Froome appart from his own team mate.
