Private plates ... Opinions

Shame i can't get LN LLL for my initials, only LNN LLL is left :(

So my only real option is a WTF of FTW plate etc, which tbh i'm not too fussed about.

I'm very tempted to get H***CSK for the CSK Range Rover (on a H reg). However they seem awfully hard to find for a sensible price. Plenty of G or J prefix plates but no H ones :(

My perfect plate would actually be "H120 CSK" (being number 120 of 200 limited edition models), however I find it hard to justify the cost. I actually found "CSK 120" for sale recently but I could have bought a nice car for the money it was going for.

may as well tell you what it is as ya can prob guess. The one I want is

DR54 SSO

......not the best and the gap is a bit poop but still I would like it hehe :D WHY R U 1K??!?!?!!?!?!?!

Thats the cheapest level of plate they do.

I know. However it'll make my car a 55 instead of 56. Not really bothered as it spells my nickname fantastically. Shorter versions are a lot more. May think a little longer on it.

well there is that little trust button that has my name shown...but to help its Steve Earl and my middle initial is N

OK. I think it'd look much, much better as a 5 or 6-digit plate i.e. XX SNE or XXX SNE. It just looks like a regular plate there.

Its got my initials in it in 3 groups, but then I haven't spaced it badly like some do, but then it was a present and its personal to me...

Just looks like a regular plate... Is the car a 53 (Aging a car I know shouldn't matter, but it sort of does)?

Sorry looks like a standard plate to me. I wouldn't give it a second look. Hope it wasn't expensive.

I can't see sense

?

That fine as its my personal plate and means something to me and the people who bought it for me, if know body else sees anything then it doesn't matter. Would a xx SNE or xxx SNE plate mean anything different to anybody?

I tend to agree with you. As long as you know what it means i think its fine. People wont give it a second look because its on a car that to the untrained eye could be in the age range of the plate itself but assuming you keep it with future cars it will soon be obvious that its not a regular plate - not that people saying "Oh look he has a private plate" is your motivation for having it.

I have one that is totally meaningless in itself and ive kept from a "W" plate car from new because it had sentimental value. Its since been on an 05 plate car and is currently on my 56 plate 350z which im sure half the people who see it think is just a "W" reg car (which would be impossible) but im really not bothered at all.
