Awesome bud, thats some hillage! And a good average speed!

Cheers mate. The heat killed me, I was planning to do hill repeats up Gospel Passage only managed 2 though.

Still got way to much energy been trying to round up some nutters to go and do some hill repeats but everyone flaking. Think I'll rest instead and try and get another 5-6k in tomo and hit 50% of the challenge :)

Guy at work got one of the Scott CR1 SL frames when they were on sale at Westbrook last month, however he isnt getting on with it for reasons he cant put his finger on so is looking to change it (he is looking at Ti).

Reeling now I didn't buy one. I'm planning to do the opposite of your mate and sell my Ti for something else, prolly another Carbon. One of those Scott's would have been perfect. And built up with 9000 would make a cracking ride :)

Any other recommendation for bar/stem/seat posts?

3T do some nice stealth/black finishing kit.

I'm going to try a shorter stem as im currently getting numb fingers on my left hand and have always felt like I'm over reaching.

I've got a 110mm on atm so I'm going to try a 90mm and see how I get on, I've been looking around and this one seems good:

Planet X Ultralight

Anyone have any experience with it or any other recommendations?

well finally found some padded bottoms to fit me. now to wait for them to show up next week, hopefully it eases the paaaaaaaaaaaain.

You wouldnt need to change the BB but you'll get a new one if you buy DA cranks, so you may as well use that.

Aye, i dont know what he has in at the minute exactly (asked) but i guess this will need a bike shop to change?

(never done one, dont have any tools if i need something in particular etc).

IMO stem is stem is stem, just get one you like the look of that is of appropriate length and angle. There is very little that can be done to a small length of tube that holds your bars in place. CF ones are barely lighter than alloy ones and not necessarily stiffer.

You have to laugh at the price of cockpits offered by the likes of Zipp and ENVE!

To reply to my own post he is saying - BB91, Press fit integrated Shimano. Takes std shimano cranks.

Could just use this (assuming it takes the DA9000 cranks) and save the DA BB until/if this goes pear shaped in future.

Bid on a whim and just won this new/uncut fork for £65 :o

Basically a £285 3T Funda Pro fork :)

Would it be wrong of me to use the Ride2work scheme at my work to get another bike when I have 3 already? I quite fancy another geared bike for no apparent reason!:D

Unfortunately, R2W is only accepted by Evans as far as I know so it does limit the choice of bikes a bit.

Not a happy bunny!!

Had a brilliant 30 mile blast this evening, I know I was at 21.4mph average by the time I got home.....

.....and my stupid Garmin 500 failed to record it properly. It has the activity, but the file is 0 bytes.

Thanks Garmin, really appreciate it!
