Serious question but why would he downgrade himself and go to united?

United have just lost fergie, Moyes is unknown and the team sheet doesnt look attractive.

Make no mistake, Fergie made those un-attractive players win something.

You had no messi, xavi, Hazard etc etc in your team yet u won the league easily and thats down to Fergie.

No one will be able to do what Fergie has done. If fergie was still at united, Fabregas may have come.

Diddnt Fabregas throw pizza at your lads a while ago LOL.

He might want more game time to prove himself for world cup

True but even if heproves himself at United, He wont be picked over xavi and iniesta .

Look at him at arsenal. Played week in week out and was regarded as one of if not the best midfielder in the EPL yet he was still a benchwarmer at spain.

Too difficult to get in that spanish side unless you are a regular for barca or RM

question: has anyone here ever sat and watched Fiorentina play 90 minutes or are we all rating Jovetic on his 17 first touch, dribbling and technique?
Watched quite a few games although I was watching it to see how Savic was playing tbh.

He has you have said though is a good dribbler and focused more around linking play and creating chances than an out and out goal scorer.

A couple of times when they played us in the Champions League, but that was a few seasons ago. Seen him more briefly since. Always thought he has bags of potential, would love to see what he could do on a bigger stage.

Christian Benteke wants to secure his dream move from Aston Villa to Tottenham by Thursday.

Source: Evening Standard

Villa are demanding £25million and while Spurs haven’t made a formal offer for the 22-year-old striker, they have made a tentative proposal of £20m.

Benteke was given extra time off by Villa manager Paul Lambert after handing in a transfer request last week. He is expected to return to training on Thursday but Standard Sport understands the Belgium international wants the switch agreed before then so he doesn’t have to return to Villa at all.

Benteke is determined to move to White Hart Lane and it is believed personal terms won’t be a problem, with Spurs prepared to pay him £70,000 a week. Lambert’s side are returning from their pre-season tour of Germany today and will expect Benteke to join up with the rest of the squad on July 18 as planned.

Benteke’s agent is currently in Turkey, so no deal is expected to go through today and it is up to Tottenham to raise the £25m required to secure his signature. Chairman Daniel Levy may prefer to take his time, however, in the knowledge that Villa are in a weak bargaining position because the player has expressed his desire to quit the club.

Paulinho, who completed a £17m switch from Corinthians this month, is the club's record transfer fee and he is an established Brazil international, while Benteke has enjoyed just one impressive season in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Spurs are still interested in FC Twente winger Nacer Chadli, but the Dutch club insist they have yet to receive an offer from the north London club.

i just can't get excited about this :(

I don't think Suarez is worth 35m +. Also, apparently Chelsea are now in the running for Higuain. Arsenal have made a lovely mess of it yet again.

Higgy to Chelsea and lose out on Suarez to RM. Pitiful.

...apparently Chelsea are now in the running for Higuain....
Mentioned a page or two back, Sky Italia throwing some of smelly brown stuff again to see what sticks. Here we are almost a full day later and no credible news outlet has run the story, don't believe a word of it.

... but he started more games than Xavi or Iniesta last season. Your point is invalid.
