Oh I must have remembered wrong, thought it had come from Cesc. Regardless, he is now playing plenty of football at his boyhood club after forcing his way there just a couple of seasons ago. He is winning stuff and looking to be more and more important to them as Xavi and Iniesta are playing less. I just don't see it happening especially at the price being reported.

Any particular reason other than last season which he spent mainly injured before that the season when Newcastle did well when I saw him play I thought he did really well

As summed up on a RAWK - a french Harry Kewell. For the money he would cost no thanks, he is at his level with Newcastle.

If there is anything David Moyes is, it's strong. He's hardly one to be weak willed.
He's not going to come in and slate players, saying he'd listen to offers or down someone's chances of making it at United before playing a single competitive game! Honestly..

As for Welbeck, yes, he was poor in front of goal last season, but his overall performances weren't bad. He'd beat people, his passing was good and he looked quick. You're making out like he was bad in every way, he wasn't. He's not going to be a world beater, but he's sure as hell good enough to be in the squad. If he starts finishing his chances (like he used to) then he's a great weapon to have. Plus, he's Manc born and bred, he loves United and he's passionate to the club. You should kill for that kind of loyalty. Especially when you look at the Rooney saga.

David moyes is in a weak position. He had no leverage. Utd said to him you want the job he nearly felll off a cliff. He didn't have the gravitas to say yes but Rooney must go plus I want cavani. Or anything such like. He wasn't sought after hebwas just a man they coukd employ relatively cheaply who woukd toe the line. He might be strong in terns of man motivation but what else?

Ummm but what happens if Cavani doesnt want to join???

Stopped reading there.

May be RAWK, but its true :p Ben Arfa is injury prone, far too inconsistent, has a bad attitude by all accounts, doesn't work hard for the team and would cost silly money I expect.

If people are wanting a french AM then go for Grenier from Lyon - younger and better and can fill in on the right. Or go for someone like Maher from PSV.

Please explain why he is in a weak position? If we publicly announce that Rooney is for sale, his value drops dramatically - are you too stupid to see that?

Instead, he's increasing Rooney's sale value at the same time as confirming outright that we are chasing one of the best midfielders in the world - HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THIS?!

I don't remember people saying things things like that when other big clubs have brought in new managers. It appears that you are suggesting something along the lines that any manager other than Pep or Mourinho and players aren't interested in joining...

I don't know why people bother reading NickG's posts, let alone trying to debate his derp opinions with him.

Can this move back to actual transfer rumours and information?

While not a club transfer so to speak, it's still a potential move;

Match of the Day pundits could be ditched in major shake-up

Link.

Sorry about the terrible link to a terrible newspaper, but yaaaaay if true :D, also, how scary is it that they could bring in worse replacements :eek:.
