which dated/old game do you believe best deserves a remake/reboot?

Or Resident Evil 1,2,3,0 and Code Veronica :D

And make them all PC exclusive while you are at it. Lol
 
Transport Tycoon - with proper online support, upgraded engine etc. OTTD is great but I'd love a new engine to bring it up to speed (pun) and I don't mean Locomotion..

X-Wing Versus Tie fighter - Go damn I loved that game, simple yet fun :)
 
+1 for SS2.

Another that springs to mind is Quake. Give us ton of levels, some rpg mechanics / diary entries etc and that would be lovely. No need to spend so much time on Doom 4, Mr. Carmack, just knock this up over a few weekends yourself please? :o :D

Mind you, it would certainly sell.

Not as old as some of the games listed above but i would love to see a HD remake of some N64 games like Banjo Kazooie, Blast Corps, Conkers Bad Fur day etc etc There the game that i have the best memories of when i was a kid.
 
Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear. Raven Shield was pretty good (although even that looks ropey these days) but RS was the pinnacle really. I'd have rather seen the Rainbow Six series killed completely rather than watch them ruin over the past several years.
 
Pong.. such drama, suspense, thrilling action sequences, amazing script and world class performances..

On a more serious note.. FF7, and most of the old SCUMM games.
