If we let Suarez goto Arsenal it'll be one of the stupidest things the club have ever done. We desperately need to get back into the champs league so it'd be like handing all our ammunition to one of our main rivals for 3rd-4th place next season :confused:

Would you really reject an offer of £40m for a player who desperately wants to leave? I don't see anyone offering more than that for him.

If Arsenal are the only ones to offer then it wouldnt be unlikely to happen. CL football is what the player wants. Arsenal can offer that. Liverpool cant for at least another season and then its not likely with the competition.

Back to contract clauses again. The agent believes he can go for that and Liverpool believe they just have to let the player know someone has put in an offer.

The latter is weird though as surely he would find out anyway.

don't get ahead of yourself. i can't see liverpool competing for top 4 for a few seasons yet.

Chadli is a great signing for Spurs

, nearly joined Fulham twice in the last 2 seasons. Guess that means Bale is primarily playing through the middle next season?

Yep, only other attacking player we have been heavily linked with is bernard. Looks like a quality player but not the striker we need.

I think it will be one of these or nothing.

spurs have been interested in bernard too but i can't see it happening.

though it looks like levy is being generous this window (though chadli was only £7m apparently so we're not hitting up there with chelsea and city) but still, good window so far.
