Skyrim Legendary

Hello.

Im looking at buying Skyrim for the pc. I have a gtx460, amd phenom x 4 965, 8gb ram. Main question is who else is using a gtx460 for this game?

Ive noticed there is Skyrim: Legendary on steam for £29.99. Is this the version with all dlc?

I have played the main story through on xbox before but it is a great game and would like to try it on the pc with keyboard/board.

1. Yes its with all DLC.

2. Your system will run it, though probably on medium.

3. You should have bought it yesterday in the steam sale for £17!

Yes the Legendary version has the DLC. But why the heck didn't you buy it during the summer sale? It was something like 40% off then. Now its back up to full price.

Personally I would say add it to your wishlist and wait for it to go on sale again, unless you really are desperate to play it asap.

I don't have a 460 now but i did when the game first came out and it ran absolutely fine maxed out, it was paired with a 2500k at the time if that makes any difference.

Legendary edition has Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn DLC. If there is any new ones other than those you'd need to buy em separate.

It's only £15 on the rainforest btw.

Ahh I didn't even check the sale

Might upgrade to a gtx560ti when I have paid for my heatsink and pc chair.

Get a 7950 if you can, extra VRAM helps when modding

GTX460's can be picked up for £50/£60. I would run SLI but ide need a new motherboard which would be £70+ to allow SLI I guess.

You'd still only have same amount of VRAM though, and it gets took up easy. mine is using about 2.6Gb on average

Ile probably go second hand if I do get a new card. For now I need a pc chair, heatsink. I was going to get an ssd but I might leave that for now. Thinking of upgrading the gpu instead of getting either the new xbox or playstation

Buy the Legendary retail edition from, say, Amazon for £15 - it activates on Steam and you will save yourself a big download, too

Some of them are windows games too. Add some more achievements to my xbox gamertag

Yeah ile wait as my gtx460 seems to run the games I play now fine. Race07, battlefield bad company 2.

Oh and as nice as VSync is, the game runs like a dog with it on. I really hate screen tearing, but I'm getting ~50FPS all the time with it off, and that's with ~130 mods, mostly graphical, and with an ENB with DOF and SSAO on.

This game bugs out at 80+fps without vsync, it's the physic's side of the engine. So be warned. There used to be a fps limiter .dll mod, but it never works for me anymore

So I can't play using the mouse and keyboard.

noticed that a little myself average around 80-90 fps maxxed out and modded but in odd areas you can get issues. may just stick to playing with vsync on

amazon 15 quid.
