I really enjoy a good shooter but they're a bit underrepresented these days. So I want some suggestions on good shooters I can play on my PC...
I like shooters with lots of bullets and bad guys (maybe not too many), retro graphics I don't mind. Not a fan of shooters where you control a cat or a musical pram or something like that, I like jets and spaceships with lazors.
My favourite PC shooters are:
Waves
Geometry Wars (bit old hat now, I wish GW2 was on PC as I sold my XBOX
)
Astro Tripper, this is a really old game but really good too, if not short.
Beat Hazard
Bullet Candy
Really Big Sky is ok
Some which I'm not a big fan of:
Retrograde
Sine Mora (I should probably try it but something doesn't quite look right)
Ion Assault (Not a bad game but not shooter enough for me)
Non PC shooters I like:
The Thunderforce series on MD
DonPachi (Arcade)
Mars Matrix (DC)
I'd prefer something top or side scrolling but I just want to get my twitch on! I should probably dig out my DC TBH, so many shooters on there.
