Got myself a new 3DS XL - Loving it, Animal Crossing is brilliant, I love how pleasant the game is.

I have been looking at what else to buy, I have Zelda and Animal Crossing! I don't really care to much about Mario, I think I am all Mario'd out but I have been thinking about getting Kingdom Hearts - what do you guys suggest??

Any solid recommendations?

:)

not to sure about platform games like luigis mansion.... cant imagine it will be a very long game.... the last few mario games I just got board of

Fire Emblem is easily one of my games of the year so far. :) Strongly recommend Luigi's Mansion 2 too as like Deo_volente said, it's not really a platformer.

How about Monster Hunter? Steep learning curve but immensely satisfying.

Mario'd out?

Its time to give up gaming, game over man! Get rid of all your games consoles, sell all your games, donate your gaming peripherals to charity shops.

Just kidding of course, but to me being sick of Mario is almost like being sick of gaming in and of itself.

lol - trust me its not, I don't know what it is or how best to describe it but I was bought a WiiU for my birthday back in March and the New Mario just didnt do it for me.... They need to come back with some better ideas other than Mario in cat suits or whatever it was at e3!

Mario & Luigi dream team (that came out last Friday) is really worth a look,
basically its Final Fantasy but a Mario theme.

Very addictive, got 5 hours into it, swapping between that and Animal Crossing New Leaf.

Post your friend code & I will add you etc!

Cheers all

Kingdom Hearts is well worth getting as it leads into the 3rd game. Overall I enjoyed the game but wasn't a big fan of the whole Nintendogs system they added, and the flow felt a bit jarring at times since you're on a timer and have to switch between Sora and Riku (yeah you can switch back but I'd have preferred two separate campaigns without a timer). It isn't the strongest title in the series, and for me certainly doesn't even begin to compare to Birth by Sleep, but if you're a Kingdom Hearts fan I'd highly recommend it :D

I'm also going to suggest Fire Emblem, fun game! Also going to suggest Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward if you want to play a game heavily focused on story with some puzzles spaced in. And if you like RPG's then Tales of the Abyss.

I went with the Mario and Luigi RPG..... so glad I did, this game is brilliant, im sure I will finish it in no time though.

Anyone ordered the new Pokemon games? why do they release two different colours each time? really does my head in.... I dont know which pokemon will be better!?

And if you like RPG's then Tales of the Abyss.

It's a shame they didn't enhance the port in any way whatsoever, such a wasted opportunity. At least in the past when they've ported the Tales games they added in more features, characters, additional scenes, etc. (hell even Phantasia going from SNES to PS1 gained whole new systems like cooking and titles). Loved Abyss on the PS2 so it was disappointing to see a port that was actually worse than the original :/

I would compare but I never played the original :<, so it was at least fun for me xD

And not long till Xillia finally reaches here :D. Vesperia is nearly completed too, Last of Us kind of got released during my play-through heh...
