I like a bit of Fifa as much as the next man but Ultimate team I just don't get! it's like pokemon for footballers all my mate does is browse lists of players with pictures of their faces it's weird like he's on a gay dating site or something!

FWIW I just noticed XO will have Twitch.tv streaming functionality built in with Kinect voice commands and commentary. Perfect for showing the world what a n00b you are whilst taunting friends who forgot to pre order by showing them how good the games look

New rumors are suggesting MS may change the launch price to match the PS4 .
This could sway a lot of people to change pre orders.

Would make absolutely no sense whatsoever since by all accounts it will sell out at launch, so they would be throwing a lot of money away. Saying that, I fully expect a price cut after six months or so.

Ditto. I might get a PS4 later but I want an XBO for Forza. A price cut for launch day would be very nice.

I think it's more likely a cheaper sku will be kinectless hence the saving. I know the arguments over kinect but for many people including me I just see it as an increase in cost that I would rather spend on an extra game.
I'd be surprised if the did a kinectless version now - too many plans and games have been built on the assumption that ever XO has Kinect, not to mention the voice commands for media, TV, face/profile recognition etc built into the platform by default.
It wouldn't surprise me if it dropped by £50 to come in line with PS4 + Eye Toy though.
Interestingly one of the supply chain analysts has come out saying from their checks with OEMS etc they think XO could have 2-3x more units available on launch than PS4 and could still sell out. I do wonder if they were talking specifically about the US however.

A price decrease and a mic could make me change my mind BUT I still prefer the PS4 exclusives. There's only Titanfall that I like the look of on the X1.
I was thinking long and hard about swapping my PS4 pre-order to an XB1, and the fact that my Astro's wouldn't work was one of those factors to stick with the PS4, now word of an adaptor, probably £10-£15, and hmmmmm, tempting.
There is also DR3, however, once thinking about this, I got thinking, would I prefer DR3, or would I prefer what Naughty Dog will do, and that was as far as I got.
Ideally I'll buy both, but I'm not sure how long this will take, DR3 is instant day one, where as anything Naughty Dog do will be a way off yet and I may have a PS4 by then.

Apparently they increased to clock speed by 53Mhz, which will give 1 or 2 FPS extra maybe
