Hello,

I have an old PC in my room with a fairly old board in it. I'm going to sort it out so my sister can use it. The build is great and in good condition apart from the graphics card which gave up a while back.

I'm looking to spend 70 to 100£ maximum on a graphics card before giving it to her.

The board is:

Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2.

The games being played on it will be stuff like LoL and mainly WoW. I want the graphics card to be able to run these smoothly on decent settings.

Whats my best option?

Thanks.

P.S The old graphics card was a GT 430 (lol). which ran Wow really well on mid settings when I used to play on this desktop. The original build is from Overclockers too.

Do you know the rest of the spec.

What CPU your have, what PSU? (these are the most important to help make a decision).

My first thought is a 7790. :)

I'm currently at work lol.

It has been a while since I looked at the spec. I know the PSU is 650W and that the CPU is a Quad core i3, I'm not 100% on full specs though.

Have a check when you get home. :)

We are more worried about the PSU manufacturer than the Wattage really, its a £20 650W PSU you'd really need to upgrade that too but if it was a decent brand it will be more than fine..

Im pretty sure all the i3's were dual core..

'i5 my mistake lol. The CPU is about 3 and a half years old. I bought the build from Overclockers at the time. I will double check all the stats when i get back.

It'll be in your order history :) that's how I keep track of stuff. Confuses me whenever I buy stuff elsewhere as I forget I did and then look in my history here for ages trying to find it.
