94mph in a 70 - Scotland Police - what to expect?

Were you caught by a static camera, or mobile van, or stopped at the scene?

Have you received a NIP - I assume you have if you know how fast you are accused of driving at.
 
I got 3 Points and £60 fine for 96.9 on the A74 (the high bit in the middle of nowhere)

This was 15 years back mind you :)
 
I raise your hung drawn and quartered with a good tarring and feathering then stick his head on a pike on the royal mile.

Seriously tho as people said above 3-6 points and a fine, if you are a person of good character, admitted the offense and are remorseful about doing it then you might get a slight reduction in fine/points.

My advice would be to consult a lawyer and ask if there is anything you could do/offer to do like a speed awareness course or an advanced driving course that might show you are trying to change and improve yourself.
