I'm not sure you're reading into the right event. I take my PC put it in a room and leave it for four days, catch up with RL mates I've not seen in ages, drink excessively and have a great time.

I think the men ******* off other men event is at the venue the week after.
 
This will be my third iseries. For anyone who hasn't been I would recommend it.

There's loads of gaming which is one of the main reasons I go, but also to meet up with all the people I know on-line.

There's a pub quiz, which we won last year (go UKCS!), a chance to wear a posh frock on classy Saturday and on the Friday this year we're holding a massive BBQ (please don't rain :p).

Unfortunately there are only four of us going from my clan/community..though we'll be busy mingling with everyone else we know (we've two more but they decided to dump us and go with BigClan...the traitors! we still love them though ;))
 
I'm going and this will be my first, going with 2 other close mates but then we are sitting with others we know :)

Can't wait now, copious amounts of alcohol and gaming without any disturbances from the mrs :D
