Meh, it's unlikely. It's way too good to be true, like Fabregas.

No way we're prepared to offer the kind of money it takes to get the absolute top players.

However... with Ronaldo I suppose there's a chance our sponsors could end up funding a lot of it (Nike, GM, etc). I'd love it but I just can't see it.

He has had a few good games but over all £7m is a good price for us. Most Arsenal fans would have clubbed together to get rid

So now we have £77m

Wenger has said that he thinks the team can compete for the title this year. I think we can compete for 4th place again with the squad but not the title.

Add that to his outburst about spending £100m on Bale is hardly fair play in the new financial rules.

Then I think we have our answer that no money spent again this summer

Too be honest I wish they just shut up and didnt mention they had this money to spend. I actually got my hopes up this summer with the Higuain rumour that we were going to spend big for once.

You havent bid for Ronaldo, you bid twice and got rejected by barca for Fab and Everton rejected you for Baines.

Why would the player need to come out and say anything?

fabregas didn't turn us down the club did,i am sure if he wants to leave he could push a move or he could just give a quote to media saying he has no interest in united and knock it all on the head.We might put a bid in for ronaldo when the time is right,and tbh i don't care if we get baines or not

Not sure why he would be interested. Whats he going to win at Barca, probably title, and good chance in all cups and CL

Whats he going to win at Utd, chance at the title(More so with him in it), cups could be more likely with Moyes needing to win something in his first year. But I would say no with the CL.

Home town club, in Barcelona...or Manchester...

If it were Fergie in charge I would be more convinced but Moyes doesnt have that same presence.

But he has never suggested that he wants to leave, he wants to succeed at Barca. His stats and playing time were amazing for last season despite what the media want to make up.

Barca push him out the door, maybe, then I still wouldnt be 100% he would go to Utd.

everybody keeps saying cesc played loads last season for barce, but he might of played 30 odd games or whatever but did he play in the big games? did he start the champions league games? from what i remember i cant say i seen him playing in the champions league games i watched but i might be totally wrong
