**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

They are not going to re-implement blocking os pre0owned games. To suggest that is just silly.

Didn't say it didn't?

Why bother quoting me then if you're only putting something that effects you when i'm not talking about individuals am I?

I never said they will put the blocking of games back in, did I? But they could put in anything or remove anything. Who knows? Do you?

I think you need to step away from the keyboard and read what this guy actually said. You are starting arguments and being defensive about nothing.

Heh yeah that's it. It's not that people get upset over me stating what the outcome from this tweak could be.

This place is so funny at times.

Ok, here it is in a nice, easy to understand version.

I was leaning towards PS4 until that particular u-turn. Strange to be honest as I never sell my games and almost all the ones I have are new.

What's strange about people wanting to sell on games that are worth money and they don't play anymore?

You misread me :) I said it is strange that I changed my mind partly because of the pre-owned u-turn. It is strange because it wouldnt really affect me directly anyway.

The second hand part may not effect you but it does millions of others.

Didn't say it didn't?

Can you see where you are getting confused yet? And where you are arguing with this guy for no reason?

O delete the first line from your first quote. Good way to prove a point. O and cheery pick the rest.

This is getting boring now. I just gave an opinion on what may happen from ms announcing they tweaked the gpu. All this is pointless.

You do seem a little confused, he just said it was strange that the second hand game change influenced his choices as it wasn't something that generally directly effects him anyway.

It seems pretty straight forward.... /shrug

No I get that but after getting caught up with the other fan girls I started skimming and as we was already on about the xbox second hand policy I guess I did take it the other way. I was just annoyed with the fan girls and was in argument mode heh.

I suppose when you get attacked, you attack back. The pre owned part I miss read but the rest I didn't such as ms implementing other things in the future.

Ok cool.

As to ms squeezing extra out of the machine - if we are to believe it isn't just spin to counter the the ps4s obvious grunt advantage - I'm all for it. More is better.

Can we give the arguing a rest please guys. MS are pushing the hardware a bit more. This is good news as far as most people are concerned, as long as it doesn't bring stability issues.

And if MS want to use it to try and sell a few more consoles, then fair play to them. Sony will use similar tactics with their console, as they did with the "this is how you lend games on PS4" video.

I've just read that Xbox One won't be region locked? So I could buy one here and bring it back to the UK? Would that be an issue in terms of power supplies? Or could I just use an adapter do you think?

Surely an adapter would be fine?

Apparently the guide is gone for Xbox One. when you push the 'X' it's going to bring up the main dashboard. When i'm in game I only really want to see whose online and what message I've got so hopefully they'll be quickly accessible.

Different voltage obviously so it'd depend on whether the PSU can take dual-voltage or not. I suspect not, considering the 360 one can't. You'd need to buy a UK PSU.

Depending on pricing it may not be an issue, a quick look on Amazon has replacement genuine MS 360 UK PSUs at £9.99

That's the original one though, the newer ones seem to be going for a lot more. I imagine MS direct would be the only source initially and I can't see them letting them go for a tenner when they're charging more than that just for a headset.

Hmmm, ok thanks for the info. I'm going to have a lot of stuff to bring back so maybe adding an Xbox One to that isn't a good idea. I'll probably have to wait in that case.
