**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I've pre-ordered my console, spare controller and some games from ShopTo, and a couple of games from Game as well (the Day One games which they have an exclusive on). Hopefully they'll all come through on the same day, would hate to get the games early and have no console to play them on!
 
Hmm I had my preorder on the big river, but now I'm wondering if I should change that to Sainsbury's (and collect a fat load of nectar points).

I'd like to see how this works because it sounds a bit awkward for times when a friends comes online and you want to invite them to a party or a game.
 
Hmm annoying. Just been looking at the T&Cs for using Nectar points on their Enterntainment website. Looks like you have to spent your Nectar points on vouchers specifically for the Entertainment site (maximum of £50 voucher available) and you can only use ONE voucher per transaction :/

Was hoping I could use the £150 of Nectar points i'd collected on my Xbox pre-order.... apparently not :/

Thinking about it, I guess I could do 3 separate transactions.. one for just the console, one with a game and one with some accessories. hmmmmmmm

I'll wait a bit closer to the time, and see which console to pre-order. I read a rumour about a possible non-kinect xbox, but don't expect that to happen. Shame though, as I just do not want a kinect.

There has been too much invested in Kinect to drop it now. They must have guaranteed its presence to developers anyway.
 
I ordered my Xbox from the Microsoft Store, got 6% cashback through Quidco also so getting £21.79 back at some point.
 
You can get it for £386 + 7% cash (New customers) At the shop direct places. You'll just need to find a new customer code for 10% (That works with gaming stuff) There's a few knocking around.
 
The Gold is tied to your account, MS have already said it will carry over :)
Just add another year of gold and enjoy the free games.
