Ramadan coming to an end. It has been very difficult this year. Very long days, heatwave etc. But it's been a good experience.

Lost quite a fair amount of weight as well. Most did infact. Hopefully Eid will be tomorrow.

Eid Mubarak my fellow Muslims brothers & sisters. Hope you enjoy the day.

:)

Do you get to feast tomorrow then? I remember being told that it was customary to have a big family party and celebrate all that is good, i.e. food, good health, friends and family.

Well done to all those who have remained faithful and true through these last few weeks :)

I thought this had finished weeks ago?
Not the best of weather for attempting this, so good effort to all no matter how far you got :)

One of my work colleges has tomorrow and Friday off work to celebrate. He said although you feel like you could eat a lot you actually don't because your stomach has shrunk.

He looked very tired with bags around his eyes yesterday.

Well done to those who have managed to get through it!

Yup your right there. After fasting all day, and when you sit down to eat. t's a different story.

But yes hard work. And im off from today for 2 weeks. So all good :)

Once it is confirmed that Eid is tomorrow. Then yea its quite normal to have freinds and family over. But problem is, when you have been fasting for a month, is a change to the system.
So it takes another few days to get out of it. :(

Eid Mubarak!!

Same length every year mate the start just start begins a few weeks or so earlier than the previous year that's why it goes from Winter to Summer etc.

:D :D :D :D

Thomas.

Mubarak to you all. Had a few people embracing Islam at the Masjid too, but then it happens every year, more so during Ramadhan at Cheadle/Didsbury.

I'm going to get my niece a Nexus 7 for an Eid present, she deserves it this year for passing her 11 plus and getting into grammar school.

....and for the liberal Muslims amongst you, Charity and Prayer is for life, not just for Ramadhan. Be more active at your Masjid and local community and do positive things.
