Nottingham/Derby OcUKers - Meet?

I'm slap bang in the middle of the city centre, not much of a drinker, but I'm sure that between all of us, we could figure something out.
 
I must live very close to Prophet.

Could be up for something, I haven't heard of any of those board games though...
 
If everyone can put where they would like to meet and prefered, I'll update the first post.

It's going to be difficult to do something everyone wants to do so depending on numbers maybe we could have a couple of meets to cover all bases.
 
It'll have to be a case of someone organising something, and those who can make it, turn up, and those that can't, don't.

There's never going to be any way to get everyone together (unfortunately)


As I said, I'm more than happy to have some people to mine in Mansfield for games & chat :)
 
Fair enough.

I'd prefer meeting in Notts on a Saturday for a causual coffee/beer etc. I think a big night out will scare some people off lol.

Meadows?
St Anns - Robinhood chase naturally?
Bestwood raymede drive area?

Bring all expensive gadgets and setup shop!

We can spend the evening chatting about tech stuff and doing the Flaming Challenge!

Where on Derby Road is this? Towards Canning Circus roundabout at the top? Or is this the pub near to the Subway at the bottom closer to QMC?


EDIT: Actually, I really shouldn't do that. 1kg of burger is just... man it would be good, but it's not the right time to consider it, lol.

City center day time meet in a Cafe / Bar would be best for me, although it would be good if there was another activity for us to move onto later in the afternoon. I'm not really a fan of hardcore drinking / clubbing.

While at the same time giving the locals something to do by letting them shoot holes in us.

Heh - I live in Wollaton :) just bought the house this year. Nice place...

May be able to come along - depends on the day. Going to be away a lot in August and September.
