Congrats on the aesthetics, may I say before you lost the weight you looked like one of those zoophiles who like watching the Pony cartoons? 
Looking like a hench muvverbitch. No disrespect but you look rather nerdy etc in that first pic and nerdy friends seem to go one of two ways. Either they are super nice people with the same interests or they are people who have banded together through mutual lack of acceptance from their peers. In the second case they can be very ***** if one of their crew breaks out of their lifestyle or decides they want different things from life.

OP should realise it's a jokey comment, but dies a little inside since his self image is still based around being the fat kid.
That would be fairly standard friend talk to me (hate the word 'banter'). What circumstances were these comments made Dicehunter? And as an aside, well done on the before & after.
Banter usually has some basis in reality or fact, not "you are really big man, you look like you have aids". None of the insults made any sense beyond they common factor of being rather nasty and offensive.

Perhaps true, but it's always good to have a few mates who like the odd abusive line. It trains you up in a way that a gym doesn't.
So rather than run off in tears to post on a computer forum (yes I'm exaggerating, and no I don't think this is what OP has done) when told that his mate would hang himself if he looked like him, he could have had a come-back. Dunno what mind, something like, 'na, even a noose wouldn't want to get that close to you, you ugly ****'.
Also notice op has healthy ruddy cheeks in before photo. Face hidden in after photos. Is it maybe...just maybe possible that he's lost a lot of weight from his face making him look gaunt? This to people who have known him many years could make him look unwell. Can you all honestly tell me you've never seen someone who's lost a lot of weight and thought to yourself that they look ill?
Not really. I haven't heard too many people complain about the fact that they have suddenly become really hench after getting aids. I don't think that anyone would call someone aids boy for beefing up and losing weight. Its a retarded insult. Nothing remotely funny or witty about it.
