Hey guys,

Ok so my new Haswell 4770K rig is clocked at a cool 4.7Ghz and runs like grease lighting, but when I inspect via CPU-Z it shows the clock speed as 4689.10Mhz...I want my 10.9 Mhz back :p

I notice the bus speed shows up as 99.77Mhz in CPU-Z but 100Mhz in the BIOS?

thanks! ;)

Mine does the same, its normal i think. It changes for a fraction of a second then goes back to 100mhz. However if you're running a stress test like intel burn test then cpu-z gets stuck for a while and doesn't update until the intensive part of the stress test is over then the cpu-z screen refreshes and updates. In other words, ignore it.

if you set the Bus speed to 100.2 Mhz, that will sort out your problem.. It doesn't affect you stability either, in my knowledge of using it. :)

I had the same problem, i went for 4500Mhz but it ended up 4487 Mhz (or somehting), Just din't look as good, so i changed it to 100.2, now its 4509 Mhz (or something).. Looks much better. :)

That's if you are really superficial like i am. :)

I used to do this with my 2500K :) I needed 100.1 for mine, and it was even worse as I could reach 5GHz stable, and nobody wants to see 4990MHz instead.
