Just how stubborn are you?

If it's when one my annoying nieces wants to visit and stay over then I'm a rock solid 10, if I've decided they aren't coming there is nothing they can do or say to change it.

If it's saying no to my 19month old little boy then I'm a weak 1 as all it takes is a cute little sad face and my mind is already contemplating changing!!!

10 but with a very short half life so that within the same day, I'm down to a 1. :o
Completely this.

When the wife and I have an argument before we go to bed, I'll wake up the next morning being nice as pie, having completely forgotten the arguing and shouting that went on the night before.

about a 5, unless im told im being stubborn, in which case the dial gets turned all the way to 11. :p

6 or 7, I ignore advice my parents give to me and often want to make mistakes anyhow, only to learn later they were right. Very stubborn with dominant figures, eg. Parents, some teachers I don't like, sometimes boss at work.

What can I say, I hate people who tell me what to do!

I am not very stubborn with mates and other people who respect my decisions, I will try to prove my point and when it fails I cba with arguments, even if I know somebody is wrong or talking out of their arse I will just say ok and move to a different topic...

I'm an 8 in the moment and an 7.9 for years after.

I'd like to think I would admit it if I was wrong about something, but it's never happened so far, so I just don't know.

Maybe I can help you with that...

So much <3 for that. Read "The Invisible Gorilla" for reading about things similar to the illusion of confidence, such as the illusion of memory.

8 I'd say. I admit when I'm wrong often enough, but such admissions last a few seconds. When I know I'm right though, I'll bang on about it for hours :p

4/5, though it depends on the topic. There are some things I am very stubborn about but others where I just don't care.

Probably about a 10. Got into a polite argument with my manager last week over something that should have taken 2 minutes but took a 30 min convo. in the end i just walked away mid conversation after saying "Well we can either sit here and argue about it or i can go to my desk and get on with what i'm meant to be doing"

Needless to say shes treading on eggshells around me which is good as I've had a lot of **** from her and im now lording it up because i know she's on an improvement plan that was set by the section head so if she's stepping out of line with me im intentionally turning the screw to let her do herself in.

She shouldnt even have the job she's entirely useless and hasn't a sodding clue
