**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

actually i only just realised he said this on 5/6/13. here is the rest of what he said

Mods, you can remove "rumor" from the title. ESRAM yields are "troubling", to put it lightly.

This is factual truth.

Btw, you won't hear tech talk at MS E3' conference. And the tech cannot change at this point. They're stuck with it.

MS rushed, they were caught off guard by Sony, due to a failure in leadership.

so the thread in my other post was brought back from the dead today when the delay was announced.

so i guess it could be true, especially since he said this well before and now theres a delay

Why do people use the I got nothing to hide watch me all you want attitude?
What's wrong with that attitude? I do have nothing to hide, so even if MS used Kinect to monitor me, they would see nothing of interest, unless they find overweight 35 years olds who play games interesting.

And here is an article which seems to disprove your "rumour"....

Why don't we all wait until the production models are fully tested before we start believing every bit of rumour and heresay we come across?

some well respected source on neogaf who's apparently always correct says

"ESRAM yields are "troubling", to put it lightly."

The low yields however appear to be legit, with confirmation via very low XB1 allocations to stores vs. PS4 allocations.
And reading the first couple of posts of that thread, you may as well ignore the whole thing. People were convinced the graphics would receive a downclock. Since E3, they've actually been improved by an extra 53Mhz. Shows how much the people in that thread know.

I hate fanboys lol.

Indeed. I will admit I am more a fan of Xbox than I am of Playstation, and I will defend it if people post what I think is rubbish, but I will never attack Sony, nor will I ever have a go at people who pick Sony over Xbox. Hell, I've owned every Sony console, as well as a PSP and Vita, as I just love great games, irrespective of what platform it's on. People should always be free to make their own decisions without fanboys spouting rubbish.

Why would they not release it Belgium and Netherlands ?! Seems bloody stupid :( Hopefully my Amazon order will still ship to my Belgian address otherwise well... I won't be getting an XO for a while it would seem.

CBOAT only said that the yields are low due to ESRAM, other people mentioned downclocked the GPU which was not true.

CBOAT has been confirmed as somebody in the know by admins on neogaf, and has been leaking correct info all the way back to from before the 360 launch. There's no reason to doubt what he says.

They were having yield issues (as CBoaT confirmed 'truthfact') but that whole conversation was like 2 months ago. We haven't heard anything about it since. Old news!

I think the point of the thread revival was that now the XB1 has been delayed in certain countries, it now looks like the yield issues were true and the likely cause of the delay in some countries.

CBOAT has posted plenty of accurate information before it was announced.

I find it more than a little suspicious that after rumoured yield issues they have now delayed the console in 8 EU countries. I don't buy them doing it due to translation issues, Microsoft is a huge company, they will have more than enough resources to translate the dash.

That's a decent list, but half of them are pretty obvious (Dead Rising 3 as an MS console exclusive for example), and I would imagine that over all the times I've predicted things for the future, I've been right quite a few as well. Doesn't mean I have some crystal ball or insider info, it just means I can make well educated guesses and be right now and then.

Who cares, the UK is getting there allocation and that's where mine is coming from! All I know is I pre-ordered the Day One Edition as soon as it appears on Amazon, I'm pretty confident of getting mine. Sucks for our bro's in other countries but worldwide launches of consumer devices like this is pretty hard and it rarely gets pulled off without a hitch!

It has already been confirmed that he IS an insider and DOES have inside info, at this point it just seems like your dismissing him because you don't like the fact that the info he's leaking is negative stuff about XB1

Indeed, most hardware launches around the world in stages (the PS3 did as I remember), so this really isn't anything new. If anything, MS should probably have just kept quiet about it's launch territories until it could confirm 100% which countries would be getting the console first. Not the first mistake they've made with the Xbox One, probably won't be the last either.
