What REALLY annoys you?

These may have already been said but:

  • people who window shop from the middle of the street (in pedestrianised areas). They'll just stop walking at stare at a shop window from 5 yards away, meaning everyone has to dodge around them.
  • people who get off the bottom of an escalator and then just stand there... not walking forward. Tourists on the tube are particularly guilty of this and it drives me nuts
  • people who don't click things back into place. My girlfriend is forever leaving things "unclicked", like the lids to toothpaste, shower gel and the backs of mobile phones. She also regularly puts the kitchen utensils back in the wrong place - she won't put the good kitchen knives back in the knife block, but will put them in with all the old knives in the cutlery drawer!

(of course, in the balance of our relationship, I'm a lot worse than she is though!)
 
Oh, loads and loads of stuff. :) That's what happens when you get older.

Mobile phones really hack me off. You get the tards that use them for calls and texting when they are driving. Like I have said before the fines need to me MUCH higher and bans should also be given out as a standard. You get the numpties walking around with them with head buried in them not looking where they are going... how rude and inconsiderate. Oh and the fact that they have turned everyone inward... where has the conversation gone. You go on any bus or train and the majority of people are lost in thier mobiles. The people who think its ok to shout out their conversation so the people on the other side of the road can hear the whole conversation. Sad... really sad. Yes mobiles have got a lot of +'s but they also have a lot of -'s.

I have to add the Renault Laguna to the list now after last night.

Cousin's car broke down just outside Weymouth so several hours of pottering about waiting and the recovery company give us a Laguna to drive back home.

Things that are diabolical about the Renault Laguna:

Everything.By far the worst car I've ever driven. It certainly is not a comfortable long distance car. It's more noisy at 70 than my car is at 100.

I completely agree with that. I had one as a courtesy car a few years ago. It is easily the worst car I have ever had the misfortune of driving. And I've owned a Rover 200.

LOL :D No not hurt my feelings, but I'm not keen on the trend for people to jump on the sceptic bandwagon for absolutely everything! Its the nerd version of being a raging protestor. I hate people who don't have an open mind!

This one had a credit card key that you slot in, the buttons on this are awkward, it locks but won't open unless you hold the button. But that's not a major issue, nothing decent worked in this. The seat cushion adjuster just twisted in its place, the seatbelts did not retract properly, the lights inside didn't work, the wing mirrors adjusted in a fashion I'd expect a drunk man to walk and so on and so on.

I really can't see how someone with any sense can buy one of these and actually like driving it.

Language moves on, I'm sure somebody from 100 years ago would think that you don't speak proper and the correct way.
 
When you get a hair cut and the barber ignores everything you say and just cuts it's however they feel. It was to late by the time I'd noticed and I'm peed off and there is nothing I can do about it! Aaaahhh!

I got the cut free because it's rubbish and he seemed to deem that a good deal! I'd rather pay treble the cost for a good haircut then nothing for a carp one!up

Whilst the hair you've had cut can't really be CTRL+Z, they do ask you at the end if it all looks ok, so what did you say?

If it's not ok then you make it known and see what they say. Any decent barber shop will most likely not charge for the cut. Then you just find a new barber around town, it's not like we don't have enough of them in this country :p

I annoy myself by being annoyed at so much. The misses is in a blissful happy bubble most of the time, I just find (or often they find me) things to be annoyed at.
 
Having the flu = no income and life time wasted

Actually even when permie I hated it.... I hate being out of action. On the plus side you do get twice as much work to do upon your return but it's not really enjoyable since you're in recovery mode so potentially not at your best.

The hair cut was free I updated my post.

The barbers I use are almost always darn good but today I had a Spanish bloke who is the only guy I never let near my hair but it's was super busy and I was in a rush! Usually there are 4 people in there who know me and know how I have my hair.

I'm not one to sit there and allow them to do whatever I often move my head and physically stop the barbers doing something I know I won't like but I wasn't paying attention as I was closing jobs down on my work pda.

I'm off on holiday in two weeks hopefully the sides will grow quickly and I might be able to save something and get it looking ok before I leave.
