Well, I guess I'll have a week with my PS4 before I go to Australia for 5 weeks!

Pretty much what I expected though, a couple of weeks earlier would have been nice but so be it. October was obviously never going to happen.

I really though they would come out with locked down details and more exclusives or some major footage..something, but it was ALL pretty much exactly what we knew before in a badly produced video to get the a release date that over a month what we had hoped lol

Oooh, that release date definitely gives MS a chance. If they can manage a worldwide release in early November, that'll certainly help them.

I have to say, that was a very underwhelming conference from Sony. The indie love is cool, but I have my PC for that. InFamous does look incredible, and the remote play feature on the Vita is definitely very appealing. Still, beyond that, nothing really special there at all, IMHO of course.

Wonder if we will now get an official date out of microsoft? Possibly the start of the month? 29th is annoying, but it is also Pay Day for me so it is good in that respect!!

Too much focus on indie games I have never heard of.

No pre-order incentive either. Looking at the dates, I doubt MS can massively one up them. I suppose they could release worldwide on 1st Nov or something like that. 2 week advantage will not be that big, but I can see MS one upping them anyway!

Would be quite funny if MS played Sony on the front, doubt it though, hence the free game etc.
