Wasn't this picture posted earlier in this thread and debunked? I thought the XB1 pad was bigger than the DS4?

All I know is the Xbox controller is better suited for me, and will be the one bundled with the console I'm buying. Whether the new DS4 is wider or not, it's still not what it should be.

There are literally thousands of these things at everybody's booths for people to play the games.

The COD ghosts launch last week was using nothing but, with the whole event bank rolled by MS with them providing the PCs running emulators.

The idea that they have magiced out of their backside a couple of hundred xbox ones to give to every publisher / developer at Gamesconn seems a tad unrealisitic.

Nobody has said anything, leading me to believe its the same as E3, its the same as the COD launch, and its all just dev PCs running emulators.
 
Well, if you're right, hopefully that will go some way to explain why there are some comments on performance issues. As someone mentioned above, neither Fifa of the new CoD are graphical beasts, so the Xbox One should have no problems running them.
 
I was thinking earlier as well, how little the power difference between the two consoles bothers me, and it all comes down to one thing - GTA V.

GTA V is pretty much the most anticipated game in the world right now. Looking at the gameplay trailer and the GTA Online video, it has the potential to be one of, if not the best game of all time. And it's running on current gen hardware. If an Xbox 360 and PS3 can produce a game like GTA V, I am so excited to see what developers will eventually come up with on the next gen platforms. Yes it may look a little nicer or run a little smoother on the PS4, but that's just graphics. I'm really excited to see how developers use the extra memory and the faster CPUs to try to come up with exciting new ways for games to grab us and entertain us. And that's not even taking into account how the magical cloud may affect gaming.

I think whichever platform you buy, the next few years will be an awesome time to be a gamer.

Odd, I've heard the exact opposite other than one dev who was quoted unless they were saying they prefer DS4 to DS3 which is frankly a no brainer.
