Don't get me wrong I would love for it to be a release date reveal. It's frustrating that they haven't announced one yet. I'm itching to know when it will be out. My money will be 5th as well, seems to fit in with COD and all of the publicity MS have been giving it points to a joint launch.
 
Does seem very odd just to host it via the 360. My 360 broke a few months back and I don't plan to replace it simply because I will get the XO at some point. So it’s a shame that I won't be able to watch it. Unless it goes up on YouTube at a later date.

Wonder if you have a be a gold subscriber to watch it :p
 
Tactically the 5th would be great for M$ considering they can meet that deadline, i believe that would be early enough to push people to there console who wouldnt want to wait for the PS4.

I think the fact they're not saying what the livestream is about lends weight to the release date argument. When they had a livestream yesterday, they were very clear on it being a Call of Duty Ghosts stream.

Thinking on, if it is a release date, I'm going to put my money on November 5th. Thinking about how much they've focussed on Call of Duty, and that's the release date of the game, it would make sense. It would also give them a 24 day lead over the PS4, assuming it's a worldwide date.

I don't think 13 countries is really a world wide launch :p


However if it is that much earlier than PS4 in UK and US it should help quite a bit
 
Imagine if it launched on the 5th November, real-life gunfire and explosion effects coming from outside while your playing BF4/Ghosts :eek:

Xbox One launch - you don't know maaaaan, you weren't there!!!
