That's what CoD has always done. That's why it's so popular. Everything about it is designed to make it easy to get into and so random and chaotic that anyone can start getting kills. It's the Benny Hill show of fps :p

I appreciate that with the system used in BO2 they couldn't realistically split Europe up. For clarification my point was not so much they could (or should) update BO2 to split up Europe but more that if, as apparently reported, it is possible to do so they should have done it in the first place.

Easy - No. I have burned too many times buying a season pass and ending up with rubbish dlc so don't do it anymore. I end up paying more for DLC when I get it but overall save money as I don't buy multiple season passes and end up with rubbish DLC I don't like and don't use. About the only exception to this is Forza, though even they have had some average dlc.

Edit: Too slow :( though everyone seems to agree.

The only thing I was interested in getting a season pass for was the Ghost team leader skin, but considering 'Ghost' is a player model I will simply use that as he is a bad ass.

I don't think I bought one since MW2. Even that I put on a memory stick so I could pull it out of rotation.

COD4 had good DLC maps, Creek, Killhouse, Chinatown and Broadcast. All great domo maps. Other than that none of them have bothered me much.

I'm not a fan of season passes, I have given them a go but it's a battle they just cannot win. Get the DLC out early and everyone complains it should have been on the disc, take too long and no one cares anymore and complains it's taking forever.

Epics original plan to release free DLC and keep people playing the game and not selling it on was the best plan, shame MS wouldn't let them. I think they need some middle ground. Far more free DLC in between season pass stuff. Make sure people hold onto the games and destroy second hand sales by keeping people interested :)
 
i'm not so sure about the Xbox One edition.

I can find decent deals on the Xbox 360 ones, because they will sell by the bucket load. But not as many people will have an Xbox One at launch as a 360, not by a long shot !

BO2 match making is broken all the way through. Skill is prioritised over ping? What a stupid idea that is!

This is the only COD I have bought a season pass for and I've played the new maps maybe 6 times out of the 1000s of games I've played. I will not be wasting my money on one again.

I will be getting BF premium though, which give a lot more content.
 
12 months is a long time to wait for new maps though. Besides some of the maps are good.

I wish they would just release a **** load of maps and you can buy individual ones that you want.
 
I don't know if this is good or bad but to me none of youtubers sound very excited about Ghosts.

That's a very good thing, it means people are starting to wake up and demand a change. Now we just need the mouth breathing public to realise the situation and purchase less copies of.this version.

I'll be happy if the youtuber's go away anyway. Less idiots that only run around doing videos for youtube rather than playing the game properly.
 
You're still going to get absolute cretins trying to do something "cool" to upload using the XBO/PS4 built in streaming/upload tools.
